Christmas Jar storiesI have been moved by the stories I have heard around the 'Christmas Jar'.  In the videos you will see the idea presented and some of the stories that have come out from the practice.  Would it not be valuable to our community and to us as individuals to use this concept as a way of being aware of the needs of our neighbors. 

I propose that we (BLS) set out a jar for our Tiger Tots, 5/6, 7/8, and Jr. Class in the school, that over the next year we contribute with our change each week or month or as you are moved.  Then this year lets all become aware of those not just in need - but those who have a difficult situation that comes on them.  Each group will determine who they may deliver the filled jar to along with a copy of the book, The Christmas Jar.
