Placemats for You
This is an art project that connects students to the world of those who may not get around as well as they do. We ask our students to create hand drawn placemats that can be laminated and then given to Senior Centers, Meals on Wheels or to any organization or facility that serves the part of the population that may need to smile! This may tie into a program where the students visit seniors and talk, play games, or demonstrate one of their great talents.
Balanced Life Skills will provide the paper to do this project and if we can facilitate this in any other way please let us know. We love seeing the interaction of the generations. It is great for both parties.
